“A small village in southern Italy called Zungoli began the story of La Lanterna…”
A small village in southern Italy called Zungoli began the story of La Lanterna. Rafael Tarone came to America with nothing in his pocket but a dream. He established La Lanterna over 30 years ago and even after his passing the intentions continued to stay the same. Good food with good company. The Italian – Swiss-inspired menu was created from Rafael’s hometown roots and his brother, Chef Valterio Tarone who studied and worked to be a cuisine artist in Switzerland. Together, the menu continued to grow and exceed the expectations of its visitors. Every dish has heightened into a magnificent delight for your taste.
The fresh pasta dishes to the Pinwheel Lasagna will make you feel like you are in Italy. Pizza is the staple to La Lanterna’s menu with its main highlight of their Sicilian pie. La Lanterna is known for their generous portions and unique taste. Once ago, this was a hidden best kept secret, but that secret is no longer true, now serving guests near and far. Over the years, La Lanterna has continued to be a mark in the Yonkers community while giving their guests exactly what they want, superb food, excellent service in a charming ambience.
